This 135,000 square foot Nursing Home serves as a replacement facility and provides skilled nursing care to 188 residents. Constructed with the use of sub-grade piles, concrete foundations, structural steel superstructure with metal deck and concrete floor slabs. Enclosure of the Facility is comprised of punched windows, window walls, EFIS and a 3-ply built-in roofing system. Mechanical and electrical systems meet all NYS Department of Health (DOH) hospital level life safety code requirements. Interior finishes also meet DOH hospital code requirements as well as, provide a clean, warm, and pleasant environment for residents and visitors. The Project was financed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and is monitored by the NYC Department of Buildings (NYCDOB) and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
